02 — About
The photographer
I'm a young photographer based in Louisiana and Texas. I picked up a camera at eighteen, out of pure passion — first for flowers: their fragility, the way light settles on a petal.
Two years ago I met my wife, and I learned to photograph a person the way I photograph a flower — slowly, forcing nothing, waiting for what rises to the surface.
For me a photograph is what remains. That is why I work with double exposures and vintage light: to keep not only a face, but a presence.
I mostly shoot solo portraits, and couples by exception. If you'd like to be photographed, write to me.

Slow, guided, unhurried. No stiff posing: you simply exist in the light.

Within 14 days you receive your edited photographs in a private online gallery.
Questions
Good to know
What should I wear?
Soft, plain fabrics in muted or pastel tones work best. Avoid big logos and busy patterns. Bring one piece that feels like you.
Where do sessions take place?
Mostly outdoors in Louisiana and Texas: gardens, shores, golden-hour light. Tell me where you would love to be and we will find the right spot. Other places on request.
What is a double exposure?
Two images blended into one — your portrait and flowers, leaves or a landscape — so that you and the setting become a single picture.
How many photos will I receive?
5, 15 or 30 retouched photographs, depending on the package you choose.
What if it rains?
We move the session to another date at no cost.
Do you photograph weddings?
Not at the moment. I focus on solo portraits, and couples by exception.
Can I win a free session?
